Our future dream for the Nightingale Campus is to build a beautiful new Sanctuary. This space would allow us to double our current capacity, as well as offer enhanced environments for kids, youth, and families. Through much prayer and planning as a leadership team, we have landed on this design and concept. Currently, we have a matching pledge donation of one million dollars to see this dream become a reality. For every dollar you give towards this legacy project, it turns into two. The current building estimates to build and equip this incredible worship space is four million dollars. Because of your generosity, we are getting closer to this number each day. If you would like to give directly towards this project, you can do so at the link below.
CONTINUE THE LEGACY
When we launched the Nightingale Campus, we knew it was a special place. Little did we know there was deep history and vision for expansion many decades before. We believe this has been in the Lord's heart for a long time, and we are just continuing the Legacy so many others have made possible. Would you pray about how you could help see this generational vision become a reality?
Honoring the Past
The Lord planted a seed for local ministry at The Nightingale back in 1979. Though the hands of the building have changed, the heart for creating a resource for local ministry has remained the same. We honor those who have come before us and remained faithful to this vision. We are prayerfully moving forward with a kingdom focus and a grateful heart for the opportunity that God has given us for this place!
Current Updates
Phase 1: A Place of Permanence
The dream of attaining The Nightingale as a permanent location for Upper Room Ministry started in early 2020. After many prayers and conversations, the opportunity to purchase the building resurfaced in late 2022. We are overjoyed to announce that by God's timing and the generosity of our church this permanence has been made possible. Through your faithfulness to this ministry, we were able to purchase the building in cash, leaving us free from debt. Buying a building is a BIG deal! We are immensely grateful for every prayer, every dollar, and every hand that has gone into completing this phase of the process.
Phase 2: A Plan to Renovate
God has gifted us a huge blessing with The Nightingale and there is lots of good work to be done! The beginning phase of renovations will include community vision meetings, interior/exterior repairs to the building, optimizing the parking area, and wiring electrical throughout the property.
As a result of these developments, we will have safely secured a permanent location for our staff offices, small group meetings, and student/church-wide ministry events.

Phase 3: A Place to Gather
As we think forward with a community-focused mindset, the third phase of The Nightingale Initiative would consist of updates to the flooring, kitchen space, main gathering areas, and outdoor landscaping. God has placed it on our ministries' heart to serve as more than just a meeting place for Sundays. We hope to equip the community at large with spiritual counseling resources, youth development programs, and weekly services for both students & adults.
Phase 4: A Plan to Grow
Beyond establishing The Nightingale as a resource center for ministry, we see the potential for structural expansion beyond the current state of the building. Expansion would allow for more church planters, missionaries, and outreach opportunities.
